How to send out HTML Newsletters from MailChimp

Sending HTML Newsletters with MailChimp is easy.

The Mail Chimp tutorial below will show you the simple steps you need to go through to send a 'Campaign/Newsletter' to a 'List' in your MailChimp Account. I hope you find this useful.

1: Login at www.mailchimp.com

2: Click 'Create a Campaign'. Then click 'regular ol' campaign'.

3: Ensure the list you want to send to has a dot in it. Our is called 'Newsletter'.  Then press 'Next'.

4: Name your campaign. ie: June Newsletter. Press Next

5: Select the template I have created for you (It will be called by your companies name) or a template that you have alread created yourself.

6: Add your copy and images to the placeholders. Remember, you're always trying to get your subscribers to go back to your website to read the full article or to access a promotion. When you have finished press 'Next'.

7: Ignore the plain text set up and just press 'Next'.

8: You can now 'Save and Exit' should you want to edit again before you send.
If you are ready, click send a test first. Click 'send test' and send a test email to yourself and check it. Check the links work and everything looks cool and the gang.

9: If all is good, come to your MailChimp page, scroll down to the bottom and press 'Send'. This will send emails to all of your subscribers on your chosen list. MailChimp will automatically insert their first name in the email.

When you're done, logout.
