At Pixelfire we give our customers two choices when it comes to keeping the websites we design for you up to date and current.
1: Allow us to do it for you, keeping site changes quick and simple or
2: We can provide video tutorials so you can do it yourself.
The key to deciding which option is best for you is to think where your money is best spent - running your business or spending time in website admin. If you have an online store you will certainly need to manage the store aspect of your site. If it's page amendments, image uploads and web graphics you need we can work faster and more efficiently for you.
What will I get with the Web Maintenance package?
Our Web Maintenance package is designed to make your life easier when it comes to administering your website. All you need to do is email through your requests and we do them. It's that easy.
Our Web Maintenance package give you 4 hours work at a discounted rate at $60 per hour and is measured in 15 minute increments. Payment for the Web Maintenance package is made upfront before anywork is carried out. We keep a record of the time spent working on your site and inform you when we reach the final hour. We work fast and efficiently so you always receive good value for money.
Please allow up to 3 days for all requests to be made to your site.
The Web Maintenance package includes:
| Content amendements to existing pages. Add new website categories, pages, links and images. Make price changes, update news, testimonial pages etc... | |
| Continue your sites optimisation processs on new or existing pages. | |
| If you have the Newsletter function on your website allows us to manage that for you. Simply send through the text and images. Tell us which of your web pages the newsletter links need to go to and we'll do it. Once the newsletter is ready we'll schedule it to be sent on the day you specify. | |
| Graphic Design - The Web Maintenance package gives you our graphic design services too. So if you want to promote a special on your site we can create a good looking banner advert for it. Plus use our graphic design services for optimising images or Photoshop re-touching of images. | |
| Note: The Web Maintenance package does not include adding additional functionailty to your site such as Javascript, Forms or Ecommerce components. These types of functionality are implemented during the website build or dicussed with you individually if you require them at a later stage. |
Web Maintenance Video Tutorials
Control your own website with our Web Maintenance Video Tutorials. All of our websites are built using the award winning Joomla Content Management System. The many advantages of using a Joomla website include ease of use and extensibility.
You too can manage your own website and grow it how you like using our tutorial videos. Our tutorial videos are a 'narrated screencast' of us administering your site as it is currently structured. We also show you how to add more categories and pages to your website.

Note: Ad hoc website changes outside the Web Maintenance package are charged at $80 with a minimum charge of $80 and time is measured in 15 minute increments thereafter.
